Description	Alletrol Compositum Eye Drops is combination of steroid and anti infection. Steroid: Dexamethasone is sintetic corticosteroida that useful as anti infection (anti inflamation) caused by microorganism, vhemical, thermal iritation, traumatic and allergic. Inflamation can be by decreased obstruct the work of substnaces like prostaglandine which as inflamatory mediator. Anti Infection - Neomycine sulfate is sulfate salt of Neomycin B and C produced by Streptomyces fradiae Waksman (Fam. Streptomycetacae), which has potency equivalent to not less than 600 ug Neomycin base, counted from anhydrat base. - Polymixin B Sulfate is sulfate salt of polymixin B1 and B2 produced by Bacillus polymixa (Prazmewski) Migula (Fam. Bacilliaceae), which has potency equivalent to not less than 6000 Polymixin B unit per milligram , counted from anhydrat base. Neomycin Sulfate together with Polymixin B Sulfate active to eye pathogen organism , such as : Staphilococcus aureus, Eschericia coli, Haemophylus influenzae, Klebsiella/Enterobacter sp, Neisseria sp, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. This combination is not potential to against Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Serratia mercescens, Streptococci, including Streptococcus pneumoniae.

	Indication	Alletrol Compositum Eye Drops is good for : - Eye inflammatory associated with bacterial infection - Chronic anterior uveitis and corneal wound caused by chemical, radiation, thermal irritation, and strange things penetration. - Ocular inflamation of palpebra, bulbar conjunctiva, cornea and anterior segment.
	Dosage	For tropical usage, dropped in the eye. Dosage : beginning dosage, 1 or 2 drops hourly in the evening and every 2 hours in the night. If the good response has been apparent, dosage should be reduced to 1 drop every 4 hours. For controlling the symptoms, dosage should be reduced to 1 drop 3 or 4 times daily. On beginning prescription, dosage should not more than 20 ml and should not repeat the prescription without further evaluation.
	Caution	- Prolonged usage of corticosteroid can cause glaucoma, eye nervous impairment, visual blurring and posterior sub capsular cataract, also possibility of secondary infection occurrence. - Prolonged usage can cause overgrowth of organisms that are not sensitive including fungi, perforation, thinning of cornea and sclera, closing of acute purulent eye. - The usage of steroid-anti infection combination can create masking effect, that is condition where clinical symptoms reduce but actually the infection become more serious. - If the drug has been use for 10 days or more, to be suggested to monitoring intraoculer pressure continuously. - Neomycin causes sensitization to skin (particularly skin rash occurrence). - If irritation or sensitization occur, discontinue medication and consult to the physician soon.
	Side Effect	The side effect of steroid-anti infection combination can be caused by component of steroid (Dexamethasone), component of anti infection (Neomycin and polymixin), or both of them. - Component of steroid has effect to increase intraocular pressure so it may cause glaucoma, eye nervous impairment, cataract and eye recovering obstruction. - Component of anti infection can cause local hypersensitive. - Combination of steroid-anti infection can cause secondary infection either by fungi or bacteria.

Contra Indication

-        Ephiteial herpes simplex keratitis (denditric keratitis), vaccina, varicella and another corneal viral diseases and conjunctiva.
-         Eye mycobacterial infection
-        Eye fungal diseases
-        Patient with hypersensitive to any component of Alletrol compositum Eye drtpos (hypersensitivity to component af antibiotic often occur than to another component)
